THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN 2

"The Amazing Spiderman 2" was so good that it makes me want to see "The Amazing Spiderman" very much (I can't believe I haven't seen it yet!).  This movie had outstanding visual effects.....Spiderman's web was super powerful, the villain
was electric and wherever he was the effects were awesome, and, lastly, a scene on the bridge in New York was incredible with explosions in the background which appeared to be REAL.
The cast of this movie was even better than the original "Spiderman" movie....
Andrew Garfield, as Peter Parker/Spiderman, is amazing.  He did a great job acting as a hero as well as a regular ole person ~ the balance was great.  Emma Stone, as Gwen, is a great match for Peter Parker.  Her acting matches his very well.  She seems real as this character.  My favorite out of the whole movie was Jamie Foxx as Electro.  Jamie Foxx has become a great actor ~ he gets into his character and does an outstanding job.  He plays the villain to a "tee".  I think he is a great actor and one of my personal favorites.
There is so much incredible action in this movie, lots of unexpected twists and turns in the story, and the way it is all captured in the end is an "OH MY GOSH" kind of ending.
GO SEE IT!
This is Bruce's "The Amazing Spiderman 2" experience.  Hope you experience it soon too.

THE DEPARTED

"The Departed" is another favorite movie of mine.  It somewhat reminds me of "Pulp Fiction" because it gets pretty violent, has great acting,is a great story, and it also has great film editing.  I also like that it is based in Boston.
The movie starts out with Frank Costello (played by Jack Nicholson) talking about his "business" (mafia) to a kid named Collin Sullivan (played by Matt Damon).  Collin Sullivan grows up and goes to the police academy along with a character named Billy Costigan (played by Leonardo DiCaprio).  The story circles around their time in the academy and after graduating Billy goes undercover while Collin becomes a state policeman.  They join together to bring down Costello but there is a surprise in the storyline which you won't be expecting.
If you want a movie that is suspenseful and full of surprises this will be right up your alley.
All the actors are great but in my opinion Leonardo is the best!

PULP FICTION

"PULP FICTION" is one of my top three all time FAVORITE movies.  I love it cause it is not just based on one story but many different stories.  It also has a great cast ~ but I'll get to that in a few.
"Pulp Fiction" is a movie with a variety of endings.  The main characters are Jules played by Samuel Jackson (my FAVORITE) and Vincent played by John Travolta.  Both are hit men that work for Marcellous Wallace who is a mobster and the story will leave you shocked as well as entertained.
"Pulp Fiction" was made in 1994 which was a GREAT year for movies such as "Forrest Gump", "The Lion King", and "The Shawshank Redemption".  "Pulp Fiction" was nominated for six Oscars and won the oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
Be prepared ~ it is violent.  It's also not a movie you can see just once.  That is what makes it fun.  Every time you watch it you will see something different in the many stories.  It's a movie about "nothing" but that's why it's enjoyable.  If you haven't seen it yet.....DO!

MY FIRST MOVIE REVIEW.......FROZEN

I would like to review a new favorite movie of mine,  "FROZEN".
It is, without a doubt, one of the best Disney animated movies that I have seen in a long time.
The music is amazing.  The story is amazing.  The animation is amazing.  AND, the voice over...you got it...amazing (especially Idina Menzel).
The story is about sisters that are princesses.  One of them, Elsa,  has the power of being able to freeze everything.  When they were young, Elsa accidentally harmed her sister Ana with her power.  Their parents took them to the trolls who could "cure" Ana but at a PRICE!!!
Watch the movie.....you'll know what the price is!
As years went on Elsa kept herself isolated from the world because of her powers until the day that she was to become queen.  She tried her best to keep her powers under control until the arrival of the prince, Hans, who caused an argument between she and her sister.
Watch the movie and see what happens!!!
Other characters that are great in Frozen are ~
Kristoff - a strong man who delivers ice and meets Ana
Olaf - a snowman who is much fun
Sven - a reindeer that belongs to Kristoff
and many many more.
This movie is so beautiful that every time I watch it makes me remember how excited
I would be when I was little and a new Disney movie would be coming out.  The songs
are great.  My favorite one is "Let It Go" ~ it will give you goosebumps like it does me.
I can't quit singing it!  The song stays in your head.
If you love animated movies that are "dramady/adventure" then this movie is right
up your alley.
This is Bruce's "FROZEN" experience.....hope you enjoyed it!
